Michael Berning
– Director of Instruction

Mike was born in Schenectady, N.Y. and got involved in the golf business because of his love for the game of golf. Mike teaches golf, because of his desire to help people. At a very young age he knew he could teach. It is that same passion today that drives hin to help people learn a game.

In 1995, he started to teach people the game of golf. Combined with his knowledge of the golf swing and the knowledge of the tools people use to play the game he has honed his skills as an instructor and club fitter.

At Marietta Country Club Mike has designed a great learning environment for people of all ages who wish to play golf. The teaching building is a state of the art facility that allows us to teach year round.

Over the years many people have influenced the way Mike teaches today and without them Mike states he would not be a successful teacher.
